The firm’s registration is renewed after every three years. Following procedure is adopted:

a. The firm submits a Bank draft of Rs. 15,000/- in favour of DGMP as renewal fee.

b. The firm is also required to produce its performance record for the previous three years, with this Directorate General.

c. If the performance report produced by the firm is doubtful then case will be brought to the notice of DG(MP) for discussion.

d. If the past performance of the firm is considered satisfactory, then registration of the firm is renewed with the approval of Director General.

e. If, however, the firm is registered for stores of which less than ten tenders have been invited, this may be dispensed with provided the firm actively responded to it.
