Pak-Egypt Agreed to Enhance Ties to Produce Tangible Benefits

Egyptian delegation headed by H.E Gen. Mohamed Ahmed Zaki Mohamed, Commander in Chief Egyptian Armed Foreces, Minister of Defence and Military Production, called on Federal Minister for Defence Production, Ms.Zobaida Jalal in her office at Ministry of Defence Production in Rawalpindi today. Federal Minister said that Pakistan and Egypt enjoy cordial historical and traditional ties. There existing greater confidence and mutual trust in the bilateral relations, especially the military relations between the two countries have not been affected by political changes in both the countries. The Federal Minister said futurist joint cooperation will further strengthen bilateral ties. 

Federal Minister stated that both countries can put their strengths together and work for joint ventures and cooperation. The Federal Minister invited the visiting dignitary to visit Pakistani Defence Industries i.e Pakistan Ordinance Factories, Heavy Industry Taxila, National Radio Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) etc to see the defence capabilities of Pakistan. The Egyptian Defence Minister thanked the Honorable Minister for her warm reception and said that, reciprocal visits to defence industries will not only strengthen bilateral ties but will also make us familiar with mutual defence capabilities.
