Lt Gen (R) Anwar Ali Hyder, HI(M) , Fedral Minister For Defence Production

In my military career spanning over thirty seven years I attained diverse experience in the field of planning, organization, management and administration. I had the privilege of serving in various prestigious command, instructional and staff assignments. The high point of my career was my last three years tenure as Principle Staff Officer to the Chief of Army Staff, in the capacity of Adjutant General of Pakistan Army. In the said assignment, apart from various other functions and duties, I also looked after Army’s welfare regime which included housing, development and corporate functions at Army and national level. I was responsible for the planning and supervision of country wide mega housing projects, through the platform of Army Housing Directorate. I also provided policy direction and guidelines to all Defence Housing Authorities of the Country, while directly managing the affairs of DHA Islamabad as its President. In the said appointment I also worked as Chairman of Army Welfare Trust and monitored the Functioning of Fauji Foundation and all its commercial entities. As part of my functions I remained actively engaged with both public and private business sectors and multi-national organizations. After retirement in 2019 I served as Chairman NAPHDA from Jun 2019 to Nov 2022.
